Dr. David Frey will discuss the history of Camp Ritchie, the US Army’s Military Intelligence Training Center, during World War II. He will explain how Jewish escapees from Hitler’s Europe, along members of with other marginalized groups and immigrant groups, became the core of Military Intelligence, made substantial contributions to winning the war, and inordinately shaped the Cold War world.
